What does a class of 1st graders have to say about what it means to be all groan up?
Well, a lot actually.
In my quest to finding the secrets for our twenties as we try to figure out this adult, real world thing, I took my questions of marriage, career, and chasing our dreams to a class of 1st graders.
The video below is their hilarious and honest secrets to growing up.
And remember today, July 11, is the final day for you to email me the receipt of your purchase of 101 Secrets for your Twenties to paul[at]allgroanup[dot]com to be entered to win a free iPad Mini or Kindle Fire that my publisher is giving away. For a $10 book purchase you could win prizes up to $600. Not a bad trade.
Here are my interviews with a class of 1st graders about the secrets to growing up. You’re not going to want to miss this. And if you haven’t yet watched the video Stuff Twentysomethings Say, you’ll probably want to watch that after.
I love it… “artists don’t get married!!!!”

That video is amazing. I love all their responses, especially “If my kids want pizza, I am going to make them two pizzas.”
Thanks Leelee. She was awesome! Loved her answers
This was awesome! “I’m going to live at my parents house forever!!”
That kid could have had his own video in glorious entirety. He was amazing.
That was a fantastic start to my day. Kids are so honest. I have big feet too, I must be an adult
Glad I’m not the only one 🙂 Thanks Emmanuel
“All grown ups should have magic shows” – that is the best! And let me just say that once you have kids, you start feeling like you are putting on a magic show just to keep everything running. every. single. day. In addition to the “pulling the quarter from the ear” schtick!
Excellent video, Paul!
Ha! Thanks Rebecca. Very true in so many ways
