Near Life Experience Finale: A Twentysomething’s Journey into Retirement Homes

In the short-documentary Near Life Experience I journey into retirement homes as a twentysomething searching for answers – going to the end, to find my beginning.

In Part One of Near Life Experience we met our cast of retiree characters of Roy, Linda, and the tag-team of Candido and Arthur as they talked about their dream jobs of becoming a “foot doctor” or “the guy who puts candy in the machine”.

In Part Two of Near Life Experience we hear about faith and marriage and I sing Amazing Grace with a 76 year old woman named Edith. Yep.

In the last and final scenes from Near Life Experience we hear from Candido again about why putting candy in the machine might not be the best idea after all, Linda rains down some serious truth about living in the now, and I play a game of catch – Paul the Twentysomething with Roy the Eightysomething. Enjoy having a final Near Life Experience.
