Friday’s Best: Tebow vs Hitler, Surviving “Shoulditis”, and Life After College

Picture of Tebow

What a week! Especially if you are a Denver Broncos fan, as is yours truly. I only saw half of Demaryius Thomas’s 80-yard winning catch — in between jumping up and down, hugging friends, and shedding tears of disbelieving joy.Picture of Tebow

I’ve been a Broncos fan since I could carry a football, whether John Elway was quarterback, Jake Plummer, Brian Griese, Kyle Orton, or yes, even Tommy Maddox. But nothing compares to the Tebowness of Tebow Tebowing wherever Tim Tebow pleases.

Tim Tebow is the most polarizing football player in the NFL — maybe the most polarizing figure in America, Ron Paul and Barack Obama fighting for a very distant second place. Tim Tebow’s even got Hitler enraged this week, which is the All Groan Up video of the week. I don’t think I’ve put “Hitler” and “Hilarious” in the same sentence, but this video is definitely both.

Thanks Mr. Paul; appreciate the shoutout!

As far as the football stuff… I don’t follow sports, but there’s no way to step out of the house without hearing about Tebow these days ;-). After reading your “Polarize” post, though, I am wondering if I should become more polarizing myself… 🙂

Thanks Ms. Therese. I don’t think you’re going to have to worry too much about NOT polarizing. Anyone, like yourself, who speaks truth in volumes, with snark, wit and in-your-faceness, is bound to polarize like the best of them.
